Wood Buffalo Park, and the Indigenous peoples who live in and rely on the Peace-Athabasca Delta, are at risk from dramatic environmental changes taking place in this crucial watershed. UNESCO’s World Heritage Committee has warned Canada that it may list the Park as a World Heritage Site in Danger. As part of the responsible management of the park, UNESCO has recommended that Canada assess the downstream environmental and social impact of the Site C dam. But Parks Canada’s Action Plan for Wood Buffalo Park is missing this crucial measure. Please sign this petition by December 14th to call for responsible care of this world heritage site.
