Justice Warren Milman has ruled that the upcoming hearing will be livecast and that recordings will be available to watch online at the end of each day.

The West Moberly First Nations have asked the BC Supreme Court to grant an injunction to protect the Peace River Valley until the court has been able to consider whether construction of the Site C dam violates rights protected under Treaty 8.

The hearing on this interim injunction application scheduled to begin on July 23rd in Vancouver.

The court’s decision to allow livecasting and recording is an important step in allowing members of the public to see for themselves what is being argued in this crucial case.
